Cadet Media is formed as a limited liability company in 2014 registered and incorporated in Ghana by the Registrar General’s Department of Ghana with registration number BN699432014. Cadet Media operates in the motion picture and video production industry with NAICS code 512110. Cadet Media operates as a service provider.
The company seeks to establish a large multi-Media facility with basic Military discipline and ethics to compete in the highly competitive Media industry not only in Ghanaian market, but also in the Global market who would want to advertise on our media. Our company’s corporate culture is designed with the amalgamation of Media professionalism and basic military ethics which produces highly disciplined and committed employees to drive our business to greater heights.

Cadet Media is being founded by two brothers (Jacob Nyarko and Joshua Nyarko) who has extensive knowledge in the media industry and with the concept to acquire ownership, raise productivity with strong Multi-media assets and inculcating into its professional worker’s basic military ethics for discipline workforce in Ghana. It seeks to create shareholder value by developing its assets and operations to generate profitability and returns on capital, with the long term vision to developing into a leading and diversified large Multi-media company in Ghana and West- Sahara Africa.
Cadet Media is with the vision of establishing multimedia firms such as TV, Radio and Print media and plans to concentrate on Cadet TV station business as its primary phase of the multimedia projects.

Cadet Media is seeking $5,050.000 million capital to finance the Setup cost of TV Station which includes acquiring of Digital Terrestrial Free-to-Air Television broadcast license and application fee, frequency purchase and annual regulatory fee, studio setup cost, branded vehicles for operations and 2years estimated salary for workers, cover start-up expenses and first year losses. It is estimated that the company will begin to make a profit in year 2 of operations.

The Television Station industry is in the mature phase of its life cycle and luckily for the industry, the advent of digital media has provided an opportunity for the industry to experience vibrant growth and is becoming more concentrated, as seen by a few large global firms dominating the market and gaining a huge market share of the available market.

A recent report published by IBISWorld shows that over the five years to 2017, the Television Broadcasting industry struggled somewhat to attract viewers and generate advertising revenue, though industry revenue has increased. As consumers quickly adopted mobile devices, thereby increasing their ability to subscribe to online streaming platforms, advertisers lowered their spending on broadcast television and increased their efforts on digital and online media.

Over the five years to 2022, television broadcasters will respond to a shifting media environment by restructuring their business models to better integrate programming with digital platforms such as live streaming on Social Media Platforms.
